Question about foreclosure process after filed 7 waiting on discharge.

We converted from a Ch. 13 to a 7 a couple of months ago. We decided to give the house up in the 7. We moved out a month ago and told the Bank to secure the property. Will a sheriff be showing up at our door with foreclosure papers, or auction papers, or anything at all? The mortgage Co. does not have our new address. We just want this whole thing over with and was wondering if we will recieve anything at all about the house. Our discharge is suppose to be July 15th.

If you check the Foreclosure section of the forum, you'll see a few threads addressing this issue. Some have been waiting years... yes years for the bank to foreclose. Probably not what you wanted to hear. We've been waiting over two years now ourselves.

We just don't want the sheriff showing up at our new place. We live in a very small town and we have kept on the low since moving into a rental. Our landlord knows nothing about the bankruptcy and he has relatives that work for the police in our town which shares the town office. Just want our names to not be associated with that house anymore and want to start fresh.
