    Single filer with joint assets

Long time lurker first time posterI have searched fourms etc and still can't find answer.I have not been to attorney yet.I'm not on title to any properties purchased during marriage due to past credit issues.I also have no debts with spouse that is filing C7. We purchased a vacant parcel of land that now has about 20k equity. Will TT give me any say when it comes to this property or am I left out because I'm not on title?Does anyone have exp. I know if we were to divorce I would be entitled to something however I am hoping that is a road I will not have to travel.Does the non-filing spouse have any say when it comes to non-exempt property in FL

I hate to say it, but I'm afraid that the vacant property is fair game for the trustee. This is a perfect case where proper asset planning would have made a difference, you may want to consult an asset planning attorney before your wife files.
