Has anyone ever tried requesting creditor's to remove themselves from your file, since you are filing bankruptcy. I am in the middle of a bankruptcy. discharge date is 7/12/11 And I was wondering how much luck I may have trying this tactic, and if any of you have tried. Either way, I am going to try, and I will keep you all posted. What made me think of this is I did it with two acct's and they deleted them from report

It just depends. Some creditors, in fear of even mildly looking like they may have almost accidentally violated the stay or discharge injunction, will remove the credit line. There are no guarantees.
