    time frame

Hello all, new to this forum, wish I would have found this when I was going through the hard part. My question is about the time frame from when you file until when it is closed.

I filed in October, had my 341 in November (it was listed as a non asset no distribution) than in December one of my creditors filed a motion. After a few months of hearings and going back and forth in April the judge issued a judgment that the debt was not to be discharged. That was the last thing that has happened, it has been over 6 weeks. My status is awaiting closing, does anyone have an idea of how long it will take?

I am surprised the Judge did this without an AP filed so that you could have your day in Court. However not knowing the circumstance, you could call your Courthouse, have you case number, go through the phone tag and talk to your case worker. They are nice and very helpful. They may know as PACER is posting briefs but they have the case with more detail. We were an asset case and after discharge took a year to close due to distributions and paper work. The discharge is what you want. For whatever reason I guess you are stuck with that payment.

BTW, Welcome to our family. 'Hub
