      It means you aren't in the Army anymore-oh, and as it relates here it means your debts are discharged, as in you don't owe them anymore.

        I should add to that. This means that you are not legally required to pay back those debts. If you wish to pay a creditor back, once you are legally free NOT to, you are perfectly able to do so.
