My update (in case anyone was wondering)

Well I was dead set on filing late April b/c of the wage garnishment but I still have some money left to pay the attorney so that never happened. Good thing is that it's been 4 paychecks since the garnishment was issued and they still haven't taken any money from us yet. So it must take some time to garnish wages from govt employees. So I'm going to try and push it was long as possible to July to file (then DH's Christmas bonus won't come into play).

Also my great DH got into a little fender bender and the other party did not want to call the cops or the insurance. They were just going to call us with an estimate. Very minor damages (cracked tail light on a 20 year old car). Well they called us last week and said the damages were over $1000!! DH called BS! And we contacted our insurance company. So I'm not sure if this has any effect on our CH 7 or not.

So thats a little update from me. Fingers crossed I could make it thru June with no garnishments

freddy!!! well thankfully the garnish didn't come thru as yet!! i'm keeping my fingers crossed for you, you can delay it, until YOU want to do the actual filing.

what a wind storm saturday!!!!!!!! we came home and our new trees were in our neighbors yard!!!!!! what a mess....then we finally decide to eat dinner, it's now about 8...way LATE For us and the grill broke...and this was the week we needed to put 1300 in the car......does it ever stop or is it just florida..LOL!!!

also, i hear you about the damage on the car, shoot, you think it's just a bit, but now it cost SO much to fix anything. we wanted just the fluids changed in the car...it's like $500!! so we have to change 2 a month for next 3 months, only way we can do it.

i know this will go ok for you, you have it well thought out and i know it seems like forever, but it will be fine!!!!!

Friday night was terrible for us. We had hail the size of quarters!! Thankfully after hurricane Charlie we had every tree in the back cut down so I don't have to worry about them falling on our house.

we JUST had the trees put in!!! and out they went. thankfully the guy that we got them from came over and a few neighbors...as one was 30 feet high. we need them there is NO shade here at all and the house faces the sun ALL day...so we need to help cool the house...
