Pay and Stay Question: How to pay mortgage during Chapter 7

Is there a better way to pay the mortgage other than Western Union ($13.00 sending fee)?

I know I have to be able to prove that I paid it and that they receive it...but is there a better way than racking up extra fees via wiring the money?

Why not just mail them a check? Or, you can use your bank's online bill pay. Your proof of payment is a cancelled check or proof of an electronic payment from your bank.

If you feel like you must have another form of proof of delivery, send a check by certified mail, return receipt requested.

I guess I got the impression I had to be bullet-proof through, lol. I'll send it priority mail with delivery confirmation. That way I can prove I sent it and that they received it...plus, as you said, the cancelled check is definitely proof.
