Not sure how we do this?

So I will try to make this short. My current live-in girlfriend's ex-husband just filed for chapter 7 leaving her to either fight the creditors or file as well. She is looking into filing but we were confused. She lives with me in my house that is in my name obviously and helps out with paying the utilities and will start paying a bit of rent as well. When they do the means test and look at her expenses will she be disqualified because currently she is not paying rent through an official apartment complex or utilities that are in my name? How can we modify the situation before she files? She doesnt want to file and then not be able to contribute to living with me. Thanks1

I think she is ok. Hopefully she pays you by check or makes a deposit into your account or somehow has documentation. If the shoe was on the other foot and you were filing you'd have to include what she was paying you as income. This is just my opinion but it seems right to me.
