    I think we're fishished!!

I checked Pacer and noticed a "Request for Discharge and Final Decree" was filed yesterday. I printed out the documents and it looks like the case has been closed. It shows yesterday's date as the discharge date, it dismissed the Trustee... and in the same line states "the chapter 7 case of the Debtor(s) is closed."

Is it odd to get discharged and the case to close at the same time. I was kind of expecting there to be a 30 day lag between the events.

Thanks!! It's kind of strange... I've been stressing over this for so long, I'm having a hard time believing we're done. We are SO happy to start fresh though!!

I think the thing is that a person is in that mindset for so long it is hard to let go.
I've been "over" this (sort of) for many moons now and it is just like it was another life ago.
Kind of like a bad dream that just slowly fades.

Yeah. It's like there is an emptiness (albeit perverse) where the debt & stress used to be. Quasimoto without the hump.

I hadn't really thought about it that way. It was kind of like a sadness that something was gone.
              Now THAT is bad. hehe

I know exactly what you're talking about. Sorta like an emotional hangover. So good for OP and all of us to get a chance to rebuild.
