    Home foreclosure time frame

I filed C7 in February and stopped paying my mortgage in February.( I'm surrendering the house, and BK should be discharged any day now)

What should I expect the process to be like and how do I know when to leave, I want to stay as long as I can but don't know what to expect?

Any body familiar with the process of what I should expect to hear or receive from the bank and when the final days I have left in the house are?

Only thing I have heard from the bank sense February was and offer to modify my home loan which I never responded to because I'm surrendering the home.

It depends on lots of factors. First it depends on the mortgage holder-some are faster than others. It depends on the laws of your state. Some require a trial and usually take at least 6 months or so;other states can be faster, I think in some cases 30 days. I would red through the foreclosure section of this forum to see what is there and I'd google something like "foreclosure process Washington"-you should be able to find a good explanation of how it works in your state. Good luck.

I was curious so I googled for you-try this link-http://www.foreclosurelaw.org/Washin...losure_Law.htm
