Garnishment After Chapter 7 Discharge

My chapter 7 banktruptcy was discharged on 02/04/2011. I was surprise to see a Sheriff garnishment on my paystub. When I requested the information from the payroll, I found out that the garnishment is for debts owed to one of my creditors that was listed on the banktruptcy filing. My attorney is working on getting the money back. Isn't this a violation of the banktruptcy court order? Please advise.

That is a violation of the discharge order. A particularly egregious one in my opinion, your attorney should advise you about it.
