Keeping track of small purchases is harder to do with a debit card. With a credit card, you just have to pay
one bill everyone month for all the purchases made. Otherwise you have to make a note of when you make
a charge with your debit card and deduct from you checking balance, which is a pain.
You cannot access your debit account information online with your bank? Keeping track of your spending via that online account is simple and you can personally adjust it as to what information you need. It's listed the same as a credit card.

Tracking debits is easier. You can download a daily/weekly/monthly spreadsheet and add it to whatever bookkeeping app suits you. Presto! You know where every cent went.

The only reason to use a CC post BK is to build credit.
