Chapter 7 questions

I have a few questions about filing for chapter 7 bankruptcy Im hoping someone can help me with... Is it possible to keep furniture from rent a center when filing a chapter 7? Also are a child's belongings included?

You cannot do this since you do not own the furniture. You must continue to pay to rent the furniture and it will become your property upon the earlier of completing the term of the contract, or paying it off. Generally speaking, furniture for children is "household furniture" and is included. The children don't actually "own" the furniture (in most cases).
