    pre-discharge credit counceling

    Hi Everyone!
    I just finished my pre-dicharge credit counceling. I know I have to sent form 23 to the court but do I send it to the trustee as well? Once again...Thanks!!

    I sent a copy to the court as well as a copy to my trustee, return receipt requested. I also filed a notice of service with the bk clerk stating that I had sent the copy of the cert to the trustee just to cover my ***
    Filed pro se, made it through the 341, discharged, Closed!!!

      If you do send a copy to the Trustee, then that is just a courtesy. It only need to go to the Court since the Court issues a discharge, not the Trustee.

        Hi pmac,

        We filed it with the court clerk then checked PACER to make sure it got posted. Couple days later, there it was!

        We were a no-asset case and our trustee gave me the impression of "Goodby, thanks for participating" so we didn't send him a copy. Nary a peep, probably saved him from running it through his schredder
