NADA was it! She simply was not accepting anything other than that. It screwed up a lot of people.

Both NADA and KBB give theoretically realistic valuations on vehicles.
For me NADA had a more realistic price but here we have to use Kelly Blue Book. I still shake my head that KBB valued my 19 year old car at just $45 less than I paid for it 5 years ago - I paid 1250, KKB values it at 1205 today. Guess I got a good deal after all (right).Comment

I find the whole thing strange. I did explain to my lawyer that, A) During our heavy snowstorm someone sideswiped my car and took off the driver's side, there is a LOT of rust on the car, someone else backed into it at some point and cracked the front fender - a small portion broke off totally and he still insisted KKB 'good condition' had to be used because the thing still runs. Unreal. I doubt if anyone would give me 500 for the thing.
Mine was under value for our state so it was okay but really, I don't know how they come up with these figures!Comment
