I'm down to the final week, boyfriend's house is set to foreclose on Monday the 28th.
I'm filling out the paperwork and need some help. Please respond if only to give me encouragement!
Situation:
We lived together in 2010, his income was $2910.00. Mine was about $55,000. I have paid for everything since April and we stopped paying the mortgage in September since Wells Fargo did some shady things to his home equity loan and coverted it without his permission and wouldn't reverse what they did, even though they never did have his permission. They told us they wouldn't work out a payment plan unless we were married since they wouldn't count my income. He has been and is currently unemployed but will hopefully be able to get back to work later this spring (unemployed union roofer.)
Questions are in bold below:
For 2010, I am planning on taking him as my dependent and we meet all IRS criteria to do that.
The only debt he has is home loan, home equity and one AMEX card. House is about
$50K under we want to stay another month or so then move, so if he files this week we should be able to buy time to get that much time if not longer.
For the schedules should I base everything off my income, or should I just list his income as what he made plus what I pay for everything to cover his expenses?
I do realize that it might just be easier to say I didn't live here and have him just file everything on his own income. but there isn't enough of it to show his expenses.
Is it okay to ask for an extension for the credit counseling? He hasn't done it yet and I know he can complete the internet part but most likely will not have enough time to get the telephone part done.
And yes I do realize I only have a day to get this done in, I also have to work all day tomorrow too!
ANYONE PLEASE RESPOND if only to tell me I'm nuts for procrasinating this long.
