OMG. Looked up PACER early this morning and our case was discharged and closed today!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you everyone for all of your help, knowledge, and support throughout this process! We couldn't have done it without this forum!

Next steps...credit repair, paying off personal loans, and moving on with life! what a huge burden (financial and emotional) lifted off our shoulders!

I remember how great that felt to have the discharge go through. In a way it's nice to not have it go through as it puts a stop on your mortgage company from foreclosing, but I have seen on this board where mortgage companies have lifted the stay, so in that case, congrats!!! Enjoy the relief you are now receiving!!!

I will definitely do that, AngelinaCat! This forum has been invaluable and i'd love to help as much as possible (i have to admit, i'm not as knowledgeable as lots of folks here. our case seemed straightforward compared to some situations I've read here).

helpme2010 - hopefully our mortgage company won't give us any flack. we've never been late with our house payments thanks to personal loans from family and so far all with the mtge company has been operating status quo. we didn't re-affirm so hopefully that won't come back to bite us if we're ever a day late on our mortgage or now that the case is officially closed.
