Arizona A.R.S. § 33-1124 clarification: food, fuel, provisions

Does anyone know what does "provisions" mean in the Arizona exemption rules?

Also...does the fuel portion ONLY mean fuel you may have had in advance (in big drums I guess?)...or does it mean provisions for fuel that you will use in the coming six months after filing. If so...how do you determine it? Do we use today's gas prices?

    Thanks all

i think exemptions only apply to assets you have or are due on the day you file. If you used your paychecks to buy fuel the day after you filed you wouldn't need to exempt that, as it didn't exist upon filing.

hmmm...so in that "provisions" is included in the language in ADDITION to food and fuel...what does that mean? And can cash be considered a provision...especially if it's intended to go towards food or fuel?

      Thanks

I would think provisions means paper products, detergents, health aids, beauty products, personal care items, etc. but who knows?
