I filed for Chapter 7 in California in November 2010 (no asset case), had a 341 meeting in January 2011 and my case is set to discharge in March in about 7 days. At the 341 meeting I was asked if I was expecting a tax refund, I said no because I was on unemployment due to a company collapse and I was on unemployment (never been before and I honestly didn't expect a refund). I just did my taxes and I actually am due a refund. Do I need to file an amended asset exemption schedule? Should I notify my trustee? And will it postpone the deadline of a March 11 discharge?
