Rescheduling your 341 meeting

How bad is it to reschedule your 341. We have had plans for 6 mo to be out of town the week of spring break...4 days...4day out of this entire year I have something planned and of course we get our 341 on one of those days. Is it really really bad to reschedule now I have something else to worry about....UGH

Most trustees that I've encountered are pretty understanding about it -- the first time, at least. OTOH, I've seen a few (very few, fortunately) who won't agree to a continuance for ANY reason. Not even a death in the debtor's family. In such a case, you can file a motion for a continuance with the court. Your lawyer should know your trustee's predispositions.

Pay no attention to anything I post. I graduated last in my class from a fly-by-night law school that no longer exists; I never studied or went to class; and I only post on internet forums when I'm too drunk to crawl away from the computer.
