Trustee has my tax refund (chapter 7)

Hi every one, how are you? Well i hope every one is doing ok. I know going through a bk can be a living hell!!! Well i filed chapter 7 back in august 2010
my 341 meeting was in october of 2010. Every thing was going fine until he requested my 2010 tax refund.(just to let you n.eastern ill, people according to my lawyer he is the only one who does this.) well i was discharged on dec,2010

well at the advise of my lawyer i filed like i normally do, i always filed standard, mfj. W/ 1 dependent. In jan, he confiscated my tax refund. According to my lawyer he can only take what's above my exemption witch was $2,000.00 my tax return was $4,900.00.

Well in jan, 2 weeks after requesting my tax return from the irs my lawyer e- mailed me saying that the trustee has filed a report of no distribution and that i should be free and clear hopefully and then in feb,
2nd.2011 the trustee filed a report of no assets and requested to be discharged. On feb 3 2011 request of discharge granted and bk closed!!!

My question is and hopefully some one can answer this for me. Do i get most of my tax refund back after the trustee takes his fee's or do just i get back what i was exempted. And how long did you have to waite?

If he filed a report of no distribution, sounds like he'll be returning the entire tax refund to you. No asset means you have nothing he wants to distribute.
Filed pro se, made it through the 341, discharged, Closed!!!
