Terminating a rental lease

I am about 1 week away from filing my papers
I have a couple of concerns. I am thinking about terminating my
rental lease as a part of the chapter 7. But there is another person
on the lease. How does this work and how will this effect them?

The other person will be liable to continue paying the lease. You will be discharged from your responsibility for it, they won't.
