Our situation with the car was SUPER out of the ordinary, as it was financed through Santander, which is notorious for a quick repo, but in our case, they JUST came and got the Trailblazer last Sunday night (over 4 months since discharge). As far as the house goes, PNC just sent us the first accelration notice a couple of weeks ago, and our cure date isn't until the 29th of July, so we are still in the house, and are guessing that we will continue to be for quite a while (we live in FL, so the foreclosure process takes time, based on the court backlog and the mortgage companies having soooo many properties to deal with). Your results may vary, and I wouldn't expect the car repo to wait 4 months, by any means. We've been prepared for the car repo since our 341 meeting in January, and enjoyed the "free ride" while it lasted.

Disclosure: Our results are not typical, your experiences may vary.

When we filed the original 13, we were current on the mortgage. First payment we didn't make was Jan 11. We refiled ch7 in March, we just last week received the notice of intent to foreclose. We moved out in the end of April and signed papers to life the automatic stay - we knew we were leaving, we didn't care if PNC started the process faster. We went back to get some things out of the house and noticed that they were already in - before we received the intent paperwork, they have been long calling our house vacant, which I guess it really was.
        Filed ch 13 12/23/10; closed 3/14; refiled ch 7 on 4/13; 341 on 5/13; reaffirmation 7/11 (denied); 7/14/11 DISCHARGED
