OMG...Love that!!! I will print that off and frame that speech because that totally explains (down to the lay off part and the banks not working with us when we tried so hard with them to the point of bankruptcy) how we got there! Congrats and thank you for saying (in the best words I have seen so far) what so many of us experienced. Enjoy the feeling!

I loved the letter to creditors!!!!! I think it SHOULD be bumped and frequently. I really enjoyed reading it and so many of us can really identify with it...we all could have written those words in some form or another. And humor when you're in this situation is priceless!!!!

Yep, posters who are dying to get credit cards again should remember how these companies treat you when you get behind. When I was behind one company called my neighbors trying to collect from me, how embarrassing! They are ruthless scum as far as i'm concerned. I would still been working 2 jobs to pay my minimum balance if they hadn't drove me over the edge with all of their collection tactics! Final joke is on them, now they get nothing! Love it!
