Pacer?

We filed 7 last week and I've read forum threads making reference to "pacer" and when I went to the site it looked like there are different types of accounts.

For our Chapter 7, which type of account do I choose when I register?

It said $.08/page or something like $2.40 for 1 page but something like most of it ends up being free because of the amount allowed quarterly. Do you find that it does usually end up being free?

There are many posts about PACER. It is a search on ALL Federal cases. There is a menu and you pick the bankruptcy then your court area then your account name and pw. I believe there is a forum here on PACER.

It is not hard to use. Eight cents a page pulled up in any document. There is always a warning and a cost before you hit OK to have it open. You are billed quarterly, but if you do not pass ten bucks worth of searching, your account will be zero cost. Best way to use is look at your docket report and it will give you an abbreviated run down. Then if there is a change, it is your option to look at the details but I always just looked at the simple notation. Welcome btw to the Forum and PACER is a handy but addictive tool. Use wisely.
