Is it best to get a 2nd opinion? Should I wait to see my best choice attorney last?

My case is pretty complicated so I feel that I should hire an attorney.

I have researched for a good attorney through google, avvo, martindale etc. and I think I have found a really good match for me. I am really dead set on having him be my attorney (**even though I have never spoken, or consulted with him yet.), but I feel I may be too favorably biased and I want to be objective with my case so I found another really great attorney for a second opinion.

First do you guys think a second opinion would be best for me?
And if so, should I see my best choice attorney last?

(To be honest, I just want to see him first and not even see another attorney but I know I have to think objectively since my case seems really complicated and I'd feel much more comfortable with a second opinion. I feel that there is just too much at stake.)

    Thanks in advance.

Take it from someone who hired the first attorney she interviewed: Definitely get a second and even third opinion. Your first choice may sound great on paper (or the Internet) but until you meet with him, you won't know whether you like his working style, communication, etc. When you interview, ask a ton of questions and observe everything in the office. When embarking on a journey that affects your financial future for the next 7-10 years, it's worth taking the time to find a professional who's right for you.

2 free consults won't hurt. Some have even done 3 on here...

K great, I will get at least a second opinion then.

Okay I think I am going with my gut and going to see the attorney who I feel would fit me best first. I know at job networking events, they always tell you to save the best firm for last so you can practice first.... But I think I have done enough preperation & HW so the order shouldn't matter and that it will be okay.

If anyone thinks its better to see him last (instead of first) because of reasons x y z (in which I may not be aware of), please let me know. Thanks again.

I interviewed 2 different attorneys and had a good gut feeling about the second one. I couldn't have been happier. I found her on the internet.

Same here. The first one acted like he was doing me a favor and didn't really answer a lot of questions. The 2nd one spent a lot of time with me and told me to feel free to call or email with any questions. That's the one I chose. And in their paperwork it asks who they should call to inform them he was my lawyer. I really liked that.
