After you file, how long until you get word on 341?

After you do the actual filing, what should happen next? Does it take days (weeks?) to get something in the mail from the government with a case or docket or something-else number? Will this have the hearing date on it?

And yes, if it were earlier in the day, I'd just call or e-mail my attorney, but I just now thought of it, and, of course, failed to ask last time I spoke with him, so I am doing so here knowing I'll probably have a response fairly rapidly.

Our attorney called us the afternoon it was filed with our date and time. Letter confirmation from attorney came a few days later. Court paper took about 10 days.

If your attorney filed online, you should already have the case number. A notice will come in the mail telling you when and where the 341 is going to be held. It usually comes within a week or ten days. Good luck.

I completely feel stupid now. After I posted this message and got your responses, I e-mailed my attorney, and I got an e-mail by 7:30am stating that they had called twice and left a voice mail with the information. This shocked me due to always listening to my voice mails (I don't get many), so I went to my phone and nope, no voice mails. Checked my deleted messages and guess what? Two are there, one from him and one from the paralegal with my case number stating they did the filing on the 4th. How I deleted them without listening? Who knows. I feel like an idiot.

Nevertheless, I have a case number, and I did speak to them today and was told I can now do my pre-discharge course online. I have yet to get anything in the mail, but that, I'm sure, is coming. I guess I should now learn about this Pacer thing, too.
