Reaffirming Agreement

We received papers from BK cout to appear, with our attorney, next Thursday because the the bank where we have our car loan did not respond in time!

Why do we have to be there when it was the banks fault for not responding in time?

Hi nomore008,

If the reaffirmation didn't get filed there would be no reason to go to court....almost certain you are going b/c it did get filed, and you are going to a reaffirmation hearing where the judge will approve or deny it.

...and if doesn't get approved, don't panic...contact the lender and let them know you will be making the payments and wish to keep the car.
