Checked Pacer a minute ago, and the trustee entered "REPORT OF NO DISTRIBUTION". I know that is GREAT news, but still have a few deadlines to meet. Now, my question is, what does this statement mean, "Assets Abandoned (without deducting any secured claims): $xxxx. The amount of that is my mortgage balance, but we intend to continue living here and continue making the mortgage payments. I just want to make sure this doesn't mean we are walking away from the property. Actually, the trustee asked just about everyone else if they were keeping their homes but he never asked us that question.
I also want to add, Pacer now says "Awaiting Discharge." Begin date is now 1/06/11 and days in status went back to 0. So, is it fair to assume the 60 day clock has started ticking today?Last edited by csonly; 01-06-2011, 09:38 AM.Filed Ch 7: 11/2010 and 03/2011 and closed

It doesn't mean you're walking away. It just means that the debt is "discharged". If you are doing a "stay and pay" (or retain and pay), then you just keep making your payments on time, keep up your hazard insurance, and pay your property taxes.Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
Status: (Auto) Discharged and Closed! 5/10
