Hey, today is my last day to object, too!

As for the credit: Well, check my signature...my score went up as well. If I would elect to pay off the balance on my 2 credit-cards, the FICO/score on ALL 3 reports would already exceed 650.
    Filed CH7 9/24/2010, 341 on 10/28/2010, Disch.&Closed: 1/6/2011. FICO EX: 9/2: 672.
    FICO EQ: pre-filing: 573, After BK Public Record: 568, 10/3: 673.
    FICO TU: pre-filing: 589, After BK Public Record: 563, 9/2: 706.

Don't mean to pop your bubble, but your info is totally worthless...

Think about it this way John, your debt-to-income level hasn't been this good in years!

          Tom in Colo

ps: pull all three reports directly and look for errors, article in the newspaper said 95% of folks had errors
          Ch7 filed 5/12/2010.....341 meeting 6/30/2010....report of no distribution 8/15/2010.....discharged 10/01/2010.....closed 11/09/2010

Yeah! Mine, too: I'm below 100% again...although that's the balance to available credit-limit since the income doesn't affect the credit-score.

You have not even been discharged and you are already looking at your scores? It is going to take a long time for your credit to heal. Just having the public record of the BK on your reports is tough enough. I would slow down a bit. After a couple of months after you get your discharge, pull all three of your reports and start disputing any and everything that is not reporting correctly.
              Filed Chap.7: 08-21-06
              341: 09-18-06
              Discharge: 11-29-06
              Closed: 12-04-06

If you put your head in the sand you can be sure that recovery will take much longer. I already disputed my errors with one of the credit bureaus 2 MONTHS AGO - 4 weeks after FILING - and guess what? 5 derogatory accounts are already gone!
Why shouldn't I look at my scores? I checked them pre-filing as well. And why should I wait (IMO, "waste") a couple of months after my discharge to dispute with the other bureaus? Once I hold the discharge in my hands, I'm going to dispute with the other 2 as well. There is no difference between 6 hours and 6 months in the reporting regulations of the FCRA after a BK. If there is wrong information on your report POST discharge, it has to be corrected. There is no "couple of months" grace-period.

In addition, I'll go to my local Credit Union and get a new secured installment loan and secured credit-card. This will be done within weeks of my discharge - not months.

Well, for your "real" FICO-scores from Equifax and TransUnion, there is only one place: myfico.com
I'm pulling my Experian-report directly from Experian - that's $14.95/month with unlimited (daily) access.

On myfico, you can get a monitoring-service for Equifax and TransUnion. After discount, these two are less than $15/month together. For TransUnion, you get a free report and FICO-score every 90 days - and for Equifax, you get a new score everytime your previous score changed or a notification if one of your pre-set alerts are triggered (increase of account-balance, new inquiry etc.). This is my favorite product and GREAT for "score-tracking" when you are going through the BK-process and the following clean-up. This subscription also includes a 30% discount on Equifax-reports while subscribed.

Kar, i am not worried about my scores i have always moniterd them and i was just couriouse How bad they where affected. When i filed i did not have any lates or chargeoffs or anything bad yet. My wife lost her job and we burned though all of our savings by paying all our bills. once they money was gone and before we went delinquint on any bills i filed. i knew it would only get worse so i did not hesitate and filed right away.
