    Student Loans and Chapter 7

I filed Chapter 7 earlier this month and had an interview with a school after. I was accepted this past week and can start January 3rd. i will use a Stafford loan and there won't be any money left to come to me after paying tuition.

My 341 is scheduled for the 12th of January. Is there going to be any issue with this?

Shouldn't be an issue. The money is going toward tuition and not being disbursed as cash to you, so there is nothing for the trustee to claim.
Filed pro se, made it through the 341, discharged, Closed!!!

I don't think there is an issue either.

Just make sure to let the school knows you are in the BK process. I was going through the BK process while I transferred to a new school. I had to fill out an additional form for the school stating it was okay for me to have additional loans. I just printed the pacer report stating the trustee was done with my case and my lawyer sent an email stating the same thing. I was discharged from my BK case once I got my loans.
      Chapter 7 filed on 4/23/2010
      341 meeting on 5/28/2010
      Discharged on 8/19/2010

I am in school now. I have been using Stafford Loans for tutiton and living expenses. I am considering chapter 13. I know this will affect my ability to get private student loans. How will it affect my Stafford Loans? And what other problems could happen to my education? I am considering BK partly to save my house and partly so I can stop struggling financially and start studying efficiently. Thanks for any advice!
