Awaiting Discharge with flags

Hey all,

My 60days from the 341 meeting expired on Dec 6th. However. Pacer still lists it as awaiting discharge. Under flags, it shows REAF (reaffirmation agreement). The reaf agreement was filed 11/30.

What are they waiting for? do they need to do something with the reaf agreement before issung the discharge or are they just backlogged?

Hi mwalan,

Do you have a reaffirmation hearing scheduled? If your attorney did not approve and sign-off on the reaffirmation you should have been scheduled for a hearing. If the court can't get it squeezed in before the discharge date it should push the discharge past the date of the hearing.

If your attorney did approve and sign-off on the reaff, the delay is most likely just administrative backlog...ours took 92 days...

Hopefully you don't have to wait that long!

Answered your own question! If it was scheduled it should show on PACER..
