Filed, have meeting on January 13th: Can I settle a debt I forgot?

basically says it all. I have a $150 debt to PNC. My thought is to call them and say "I just filed for bankruptcy. it costs 26 bucks to add you. Or you an take 26 bucks to settle it. Your choice..."

Will that effect my confirmation?

A cost-effective solution is to send the creditor a polite letter and a copy of your BK notice w/ case# and file date and not pay anything, usually works....courts have consistently ruled that pre-petition unsecured debt is still discharged if they were left out by a simple error. (assuming there was no distribution)

And $150 is chicken feed for PNC, I doubt they will want to bother with it

ps: confirmation sounds like a Ch 13 plan confirmation, pretty sure adding a creditor is different in a Ch 13
