Will payday loan mess up filing date?

Our bank account was overdrawn last month and we had to use an "early access line" that is connected to our checking account to cover the cost of the fees. The money used from the line is paid automatically once a direct deposit of $100 or more is made. So when my husband's check entered the account it was paid in full.

I didn't think much of it, because it wasn't a credit card, but now I'm wondering if using this line to cover these fees will delay our filing date. We are supposed to sign the paperwork on Monday. Any ideas? Or will we be okay?

    Hi Pixar,

This must be a common occurence w/ folks filing BK (and even those who aren't) The bank would be the one to object to it, and it sounds like they got paid back.

I think you are OK, hope your filing goes smoothly!

Pixar, I had a Checking Plus account, same function as your account, which got overdrawn on my day of filing because I withdrew all my money to pay my lawyer. That account stayed in a negative balance until the bank closed the account. Don't sweat it.
