It wasn't because of not having cc to use, I just needed a set of tires quickly for my car and they aren't cheap. I appreciate all the advice and I did not do it.

I feel your pain. I'm filing in one week, and after giving my lawyer the final installment of $575 tomorrow afternoon (payday!), I will be flat stinking broke for the holidays. I'm driving my little car around and praying that I'm not in an accident, because if I am, I don't have the $200 deductible to pay my car insurance. This morning I put $1.00 of gas in my car to get to work, because that's literally all I had and the tank was empty.


Take the bus, do whatever you have to do, and remember it's only temporary for a few weeks until you get that discharge.

As soon as this mess is over and I don't have to fork over these fat payments to my lawyer every month, it's going to be my first priority to start a savings account ASAP.

I can't wait to have a rainy day fund.
