I had my credit counseling today and went in a bit nervous. The paperwork for the session arrived last week, in Spanish and I was unsuccessful in obtaining the English version. A rep on the phone said - here's the 10 things you need to bring, so I brought what I had and all went well. It was not so much counseling as going over the budget I used to have versus the one I have now (rent, food and utilities.)
At the end the counselor said she went ahead and waived the fee - woohoo - and that she'd waive the fee for the post-discharge class. It paid to be poor today, I guess. I received my certificate which I will deliver to the Bankruptcy Court tomorrow. It needs to be there in the Clerk's hand by day 14 after my filing or my case gets tossed.
And, in my mail I received the notice granting my request for the Ch 7 fee to be waived. Little things, but it all adds up. Awaiting my 341 on 12-16. So I'm moving forward!
