    Question about Mortgage Escrow

    Hi there,

My bank told me the other day that they are reviewing my escrow payment and that I may be due an escrow-overage refund.
(my monthly house payments have the escrow built in and as you may know, it is re-evaluated each year).
I filed for Chapter 7 BK in November.
If I do end up getting some sort of Escrow overage refund from the bank, am I required to notify my attorney/trustee? If there IS a refund, it prob wouldnt be more than $300.
My 341 hearing is in December.
    Thanks for reading!

      Hi azviolet!

Definitely notify your attorney, let them handle the trustee. Since it is post-filing and a small amount I don't think it is going to be a problem.
