You can search the forum for wells fargo, greg, and see what other people are experiencing with them.

I found one link that might be useful: http://www.bkforum.com/showthread.ph...-reaffirmation

Maybe ask your attorney what makes him think they will let you ride-thru. There might be a reason. If you find one, come back and tell the rest of us!

I don't know if the guy was right. Maybe I got the office dummy on the phone. But that's what he told me.
I called and got the number for the BK department and there was no answer over there yesterday and today it just says the person is not available, the messages tell you dont leave a message either! I called the general number and they said they cannot answer my questions because the account is BK they can let me make a payment but they cannot do anything else including tell me anything about my account, if i want to know anything about this i have to talk to my attorney they said only he can contact them!

greg--I just called Wells Fargo today about my reaffirmation. I checked the box on the SOI that said I would reaffirm and I received a reaffirmation agreement in the mail. I wasn't offered any change in the terms, but probably because we have a little bit of equity in the car already. Anyways, I was told by the bk dept that I do not have to sign the reaff agreement and they do not want the car back as long as I stay current.

When I called, I didn't enter any digits because I don't have an account. I waited for all the prerecorded requests for account number, blah blah, to stop. Then a live person got on the phone and I asked them what the policy was regarding consumers with auto loans and bankruptcy filings. Still, sleeper, I would ask your attorney again as well. There might be a valid reason for his thinking you can ride-thru. Also, I think the 800 number is open again tomorrow.

edit: has your attorney has spoken to them already? maybe they told him you don't have to sign the reaffirmation. Whatever you find out, come back and tell us because it will help others with chrysler loans.

                  Hey Greg,

There was a post today where someone had Wells Fargo and they called them, WF said no reaffirm needed, just stay current.

I would always say call the lender, get it straight from the horses mouth...
