Discharged Chapter 7 w/Assets Awaiting Closing

I've been discharged for months now...and am awaiting closing. My BK is an assets case. My question is...how do I know which assets are going to be taken? Does the Trustee send a list to us? Thanks for any info/help.

I had a tax refund case that just closed. It took my trustee about 4 months after discharge to file his final report, which will stipulate what assets were sold and used to pay creditors. If he is planning on selling some of your assets, he would take them and sell them prior to preparing the final report. This really isn't a "final report" since after the funds are distributed they have to wait for creditors to cash the checks. Then a Final Account of the Trustee is filed, which indicates that the trustee is done with the case and doesn't object to it being closed. In my case, it was closed the same day. The proceedures in your district may be different, however.
