Our case was assigned to a trustee last week and we got a letter telling us that we must call the trustee within 10 business days. It was accompanied by a couple of pages containing standard information about Ch7. I have heard that there is a phone interview prior to the 341 hearings in Middle District Florida - is this it? What should I expect when I call? Also, my husband and I are filing jointly - do we both need to be on the phone?

Yes, middle FL district and is called a pre 341 conference. Usually done at the lawyers office on an open phone. The Trustee or in our case his para legal will ask about the same questions as will be asked at 341. Something like a rehearsal. 'HubIf I knew it all, would I be here?? Thanks! I feel better. It only gave us a 3-hour window to call and only on a Monday or Tuesday, so it will be impossible for both my husband and I to be on the phone (I'll be at work).
