Listing a Foreclosure - How

Live in Ca.
Husband and i have been separated 2 years, just waiting for the final divorce items to go through.
While we were married we bought a house but the home was in his name, CA is a community property state though so I beleive the debt is mine as well.
Anyway, about 2 1/2 years ago the home "we" bought, was foreclosed on.

How do i list this in the paperwork and where? I pulled my credit report and it shows a Closed Mortgage Account for 400,000.00.
What do i do?

You'll need to be a little more specific regarding which paperwork you're talking about. Are you talking about transfers of property? Also, because CA is a community state, and the house was bought post-marriage, your name would also be on the loan and title. Please be more specific regarding the notation of the mortgage in the credit reports. Closed....by grantor?

With more information everyone here can certainly point you in the right direction.

The foreclosure goes on the Statement of Financial Affairs, #4

If there was a deficiency on the house (sale did not cover all that was owed) be sure to list the mortgage co. and any collection agencies they farmed it out to on your BK (unsecured creditors now that the house is gone)
