Anyone ever NOT reaffirmed their flipped car....

continued paying as normal and and still got it repo'd ??

their flipped car.... ...flipped on something soft or down the side of the road.

If you manage to get through discharge w/o a reaffirmation agreement and you are current on the loan, technically they can't repo according to 11 U.S.C. ยง541(c) But this doesn't seem to stop some folks. Mention it to your lawyer.

Also it depends on who the lender is....some are notorious for repos, some not at all. Post your lender and hopefully folks will chime in...

flipped in the sand on the beaches of Florida
We are current, actually haven't been late in 3 years. My lawyer said they CAN take it, but they aren't going to. She said they have plenty of people NOT paying to repo a paying customer right now.
      My lender is BB&T
      Appreciate any feedback !

I am currently financed through Regional Acceptance (an affiliate of BB&T). We never heard anything from them, we just got discharged 2 weeks ago. We've only made 4 payments, all on time and current. I am also worried about repo. If it does happen, I'll post about it!
