    Credit Report Question

Hi everyone! I just got discharged 3 days ago and decided to pull my credit report today. I'm a little confused though. My mortgage which is through Bank of America states included in bankruptcy; we reafirmed our mortgage, so why would it say this? Also, our second mortgage which is through Citi Financial is no where on my credit report, but when I pulled my report a few months ago, it was there.
Thanks in advance for your help!

    Hi annamarie,

I just got discharged 3 days ago and decided to pull my credit report today. ...might be too early, discharge info gets uploaded to PACER, info getting to right person at creditor company, going to wrong person, ...some stuff gets reported right away, some stuff gets backlogged

I'm a little confused though. My mortgage which is through Bank of America states included in bankruptcy; we reafirmed our mortgage, so why would it say this? ...it says that b/c it was in the BK. BoA is afraid that reporting during the BK is a violation of the automatic stay or discharge injunction. Send a letter to BoA requesting that it starts reporting again (the hard part will be finding the right person at BoA), then start a letter campaign to the credit bureaus trying to get it changed to 'paid as agreed' It will be like pulling teeth, lots of letters and persistence, might work, might not.

Also, our second mortgage which is through Citi Financial is no where on my credit report, but when I pulled my report a few months ago, it was there. ...never underestimate how many things credit bureaus can screw up on a given day. If the 2nd was discharged in the BK or was in arrears, you don't want it there, don't say anything and hope no one notices. If you were current and reaffirmed same advice as above.

While you are at it, make sure all accts discharged in the BK are noted as such and have a 0 balance. Then if you need your credit score, do some rebuilding, this will make more difference than anything.

    Good luck with it,
