Should I call the trustee?

The BK code requires a copy of last two years sent to the trustee 2 weeks before the 341. Some want it, some don't, but I would send them b/c your case could get dismissed if you don't.

Being new to this, I have to ask: when they want to see the bank statement for the month you filed, what are they looking for, exactly? Do they want to see money in your account or, maybe, a lack of money? The thing is for me I should, by the time I file, actually *have* money in my account due to not paying on the CCs. Is there some magic number that if they see it, they suddenly believe you're not 'broke,' so to speak?

Thanks so much for all the great info and recommendations. I would rather be over prepared, so to speak, than under prepared. I will take all of the above items mentioned to my 341 just in case. Better to be safe than sorry which is why I posed this question. I will also send my last 2 tax returns to the trustee return receipt. I sure appreciate all the help you guys give.
