Question about a discharged and closed bk case

Are you underwater on the cars? Would the trustee get some money by selling the cars and paying off the loan? I am trying to figure out why you have not gotten a report of no distribution yet.

I'm about even or just a little over (have little equity) with the cars. One car is registered under my name. The other I cosigned with my brother's wife. I doubt that Chase and Toyota had something to do with this, probably they were asking the trustee to abandon the cars.

tobee, this is exactly what I read from pacer. There was a report of no distribution and assets abandoned by trustee. I just call the law firm and one of the legal staff people told me that once I receive a notice of discharge, it's done. It also seemed that she was disturbed or something like that. Geez, only a question.

If you received a report of no distribution, then you just need the trustee to abandon the assets. That is just part of the admin part of closing and won't affect you.

lol!! maybe they are like BUSY!! LOL!! can you imagine what it must be like to work at the bankruptcy office in any state??? holy cow! the discharge will come next...it's more important really that the trustee abandoned the estate...congrats to you!!!!

where bts filed it may look different and read differently. each state and sometimes even counties have different document formats..

Did you receive that one yet tobee? I didn't get anything from the trustee since the 341. It's 2 and a half months already.

yes, i did...i actually and oddly enough got them BOTH in the same envelope...but so far...i'm the only one i heard that happen to.

i'm certain there are more out there that also rec'd them at the same time...but so far i don't or haven't heard anyone else.

But I only found out about this report of no distribution from pacer, not in any type of mail, notice, etc. Without pacer, there would be no way for me to find that out.
