File chapter 7 conversion today HELP!! cant make 341

Our new 341 meeting is scheduled for 11/24 @ 4pm. We will be out of town leaving 11/23 what can i do? I need to reschedule i left a message for our attorney but i am a nervous wreck

I don't understand. You have had this 341 date since the day you filed. Did an emergency come up just now? If so, you may be able to continue the 341, but your attorney will have to arrange that with the trustee, and you will have to show that an emergency came up.

I just checked Pacer and found out. We can not reschedule we are going out of state the day before for thanksgiving. My forms were filed today and updated instantly with the information.

With a month warning a reschedule should be easy enough to do. Just wait for the attorney to get a good date to work with. But don't let the week pass by without getting it done.

Day before Thanksgiving, at the "close of business" ?

Wouldn't surprise me if the trustee continued the 341 at the last possible moment.

Already bought plane tickets? ....hopefully the trustee doesn't mind taking off a little early for Thanksgiving!
