Anyone filing Ch 7 in Oregon? Have state specific questions....

1.) Do the trustees count Unemployment benefits towards your income in Oregon? IE can you argue it is a SS benefit in Oregon?

2.) Tax refund - do the trustees count this as income in the calculation of median income? We will be getting a small refund in the six months prior to filing.

Are there any other Oregon specific things we should keep an eye out for? We are filing in Portland.

I cannot find a ruling from the 9th Circuit on unemployment income....

BUT....the opinion of the US Trustee is that unemployment is income and tax refunds are not.

Hopefully someone who knows a 9th Circuit ruling can chime in....
