Does anyone have any experience running their business while going through their Chapter 7. I am a sole proprietor in professional services industry. Filed 9/30/10 341 is 11/24/10. The Trustee has already contacted my attorney to discuss the value of my business. I said without me it is zero. I could not sell it as my clients are with me because of "me". The Trustee had apparently mentioned something about abandoning it for $5,000 (he gets 25%) however, I don't believe it is worth anything. Attorney said Trustee could try to shut the business down if he was worried about liabilities etc. Attorney also said we could file a motion to abandon - $1,000 or just try to ride it out and see what the Trustee does.
