Are Homeowner's Association fees discharged?

I have a rental that I am walking away from as it was discharged. I keep getting bills from the homeowners association and I need to know if I am responsible for those bills. Wells Fargo has not offered me a decent modification and I am really tired of dealing with this out of state property. It is a real headache and I might just give it back to them even with a good modification.

It was in foreclosure and now WF has decided that they'd like to work with me..This is after months and months of begging them for a decent mod and begging them not to file foreclosure. Now its out of foreclosure and its just there vacant.

if u have past due HOA fees and include them in your bk they will be discharged.however u are still responsible for the HOA fees going forward and until the bank forecloses
