Means Test - Vehicle OPERATING Expenses - Actual OR IRS Limit???

I have actual gas and insurance expenses (with receipts totaling around $350/mo.

The IRS limit in my area is $234.

I am over the median - so I must list out this expense on the Means Test.

    -----------------------------

Question: Does anyone who is an over the median income filer have personal experience in putting down MORE than the IRS limit in regard to this expense (Line 22A)?

Question: Does anyone know of any cases in any districts where this has been "decided"?

    -----------------------------

Thanks to all who chime in.

hey gman, I would think you could put down the actual numbers with a short description on why they are higher then IRS standards.

you can use the actual. beyond IRS limits, then you need to support it by producing receipts. Of course they will ask why you drive that much. You have to justify the driving too.
